I bought my Metro a couple of years back after a string of broken cheap umbrellas. In that time, I've put it through it's paces dealing with Melbourne's unpredictable weather. Sometimes I'll even purposely turn it so that it catches the wind just to test it and not once has it even come close to buckling. It's hand down the best umbrella I've ever owned.
I will say that its cover leaves a little to be desired in heavy rain, but it's a fair trade-off for the clever design and it does the job for most situations. Folded up, it's a little bigger than some other compact umbrellas. It fits nicely into an average backpack, though it just barely fits into my satchel bag. I've just ordered a Classic for situations where carry size isn't as much of an issue.
Blunt's customer service is also excellent. Recently, after a bit of rough use while camping, the top cap came off. I emailed support and they immediately got back to me to say that they were sending a new cap along with instructions for replacing it. If only other companies stood by their products like this and had this level of customer support.
I can't recommend this umbrella highly enough. It might seem exy, but in the time that I've owned mine, I probably would've gone through 10 cheapo umbrellas which would all now be landfill.
